Boulder County residents can volunteer to help seniors shovel snow from their walkways

Louisville residents can lend a helping hand to their neighbors during snowy weather with the city's Snowbusters program.

Volunteers can sign up to assist elderly adults with shoveling snow off their sidewalks and walkways, saving them from getting fined by the city. City code requires that residents clear sidewalks of snow or ice within 24 hours of the last snowfall.

Residents can contact Katie Tofte at 303-335-4919 or by email at [email protected] to volunteer or request assistance.

Boulder County also has a program for senior residents who need shoveling assistance through Cultivate at cultivate.ngo.
