Taylor Swift Donates $250,000 to Children's Non-Profit Organization in Kansas City

'Vanderpump Rules' Star Scheana Shay Reveals How Taylor Swift Inspired Her Upcoming EP

Taylor Swift's big heart is known all too well, and she has demonstrated her kindness once again. A non-profit organization in Kansas City, Mo., revealed on Saturday (Dec. 21) that the 14-time Grammy winner recently donated $250,000 to its mission.

Operation Breakthrough -- which works to "provide a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and to empower their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education," according to its website -- shared a sweet video on social media to share its appreciation. In the clip, children excitedly share their gratitude to the pop superstar for her donation, with toddlers holding up bejeweled signs that read "thank you," teens acknowledging the impact her gift has, younger fans declaring their adoration, and also a portrait of the singer-songwriter made of Legos. "Thank you, Taylor! We all love you!" one little boy, who's wearing a Kansas City Chiefs beanie and riding a bike yells excitedly.

"Thank you, @taylorswift , for making our holiday season shine even brighter!" Operation Breakthrough captioned the post. "Your kindness and thoughtful 250K donation means the world to our children and families."

The video from the non-profit was shared the same day that Swift attended boyfriend Travis Kelce's game against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium, which Kansas City won 27-19, giving the victors a 14-1 season so far. It was the first Chiefs' game she has attended since the wrap of her historic Eras Tour, which ended on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, B.C.

Earlier in the month, days after the end of her tour, Billboard's Top Artist of 2024 spent time visiting with young patients at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City who were being treated for blood disorders or were battling cancer. And throughout the duration of her globe-spanning two-year trek, she often made generous donations to food banks in the cities where she performed.
