Eight people and 10 dogs were displaced after a fire at a multi-family home in Bridgeport on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received calls reporting a fire at a 2 ½-story wood frame home at 400 Bishop Ave. around 4:59 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Tiadora Josef, director of public information for the City of Bridgeport.
No injuries were reported, Josef said. Five adults, three kids and 10 dogs were being relocated by the Red Cross.
The Bridgeport Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident, according to Josef.
