Two more new digital signs have been unveiled at Universal Orlando Resort, and screens have been added to the sign near Epic Universe.
The sign on the corner of Epic Blvd and Destination Pkwy was the first to be unveiled. Screens have been added to the frames fanning out from the blue center of the sign. The screens haven't been activated yet.
The second new sign is at Universal Boulevard and Hollywood Way. Scrim was removed and there are no more signs of construction except a fence around the sign. It appears complete with screens in the frames.
The third new sign to be installed is located at Universal Boulevard and Vineland Road. Like the sign above, scrim has been removed from around the new structure, but there is still a chain-link fence in place. The screens also appear to be installed.
The new signs are similar to the old ones (pictured above) but with a new font, and digital screens are replacing the silver paneling. All of the old signs have been removed. The new screens will cycle through different videos and information featuring IPs like "Jurassic Park," "Shrek," "Harry Potter," "Trolls," and "Kung Fu Panda."
The signs are in alignment with branding and style changes shared with the public by Universal back in March of 2023. A new style was introduced, and the apostrophe and letter "s" were dropped from properties that carried them for a more unified naming convention. For instance, Universal's Islands of Adventure became Universal Islands of Adventure.
