The New England Patriots are hitting the road this weekend to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon for a Week 16 battle.
These two teams will also meet in Week 18, and with the Bills still fighting for the top seed in the AFC, they'll likely be going all out in both of these matchups. New England, on the other hand, has already been eliminated from postseason contention, so they're just attempting to win for pride and to play spoiler.
Before these two teams hit the field at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, here are a few things fans should know heading into the contest.
New England and Buffalo have met 129 times in their history, with the Patriots going 78-50-1 in this series. New England is 38-26-1 on the road against Buffalo and is 31-20 at Highmark Stadium.
The two teams last met last December, with the Bills winning 27-21. Bailey Zappe threw three interceptions and ran in a score, Jalen Reagor returned a kick 98 yards for a touchdown and Ezekiel Elliott also scored on the ground in the loss.
New England has already ruled out cornerback Marcus Jones (hip) and running back JaMycal Hasty (ankle).
They've also listed safety Kyle Dugger (ankle/illness), guard Cole Stange (knee), offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle), safety Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) and defensive end Keion White (groin) as questionable.
Buffalo hasn't ruled anyone out yet, but they've listed cornerback Rasul Douglas (knee), safety Damar Hamlin (rib), linebacker Matt Milano (biceps/groin), safety Taylor Rapp (neck), wide receiver Curtis Samuel (rib), linebacker Baylon Spector (calf) and linebacker Dorian Williams (elbow) as questionable.
