NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD CITY OF ATLANTIC CITY Substantial Amendment No. 2 to the Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Action Plan and the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan Public Hearing: January 29, 2025 12 Noon Public Comment Period: January 29, 2025 to February 12, 2025 The City of Atlantic City hereby announces it will be submitting a Substantial Amendment Request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requesting substantial changes to the FY 2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The Amendment consists of changes to the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. These proposed changes have been identified in the HOME ARP Allocation Plan Substantial Amendment and can be found on the City of Atlantic City website at https://www.acnj.gov/. A printed copy is available for review in the City of Atlantic City Community Development Block Grant Office at 1301 Bacharach Blvd, Atlantic City, Suite 510. Pursuant to HUD's regulations, the substantial change amends the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan to reallocate funding from the Development of Affordable Rental Housing project to a Tenant-based Rental Assistance (TBRA) project. All other aspects of the City's HOME-ARP Allocation Plan remain unchanged. On January 29, 2025 at 12:00 noon, the City of Atlantic City will hold a Public Hearing to consider the proposed substantial changes to the Plan. The hearing will be held in Council Chambers, City Hall, Room 208, 1301 Bacharach Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ. Citizens are encouraged to review the draft substantial amendment that will be available for review and comment during the 15-day public review period commencing on January 29, 2025 to - February 12, 2025.
