The Texas A&M soccer team added to its backline for the 2025 season with West Coast Conference All-Freshman defender Hayden Wilson, head coach G Guerrieri announced Thursday.
"Hayden is a tough and fast defender who is very technical and comfortable on the ball," Guerrieri said. "She brings a skillset that is perfect for our needs and she has a mentality to dominate her opponents - something Aggie soccer fans are going to love."
Wilson appeared in all 18 matches, including 17 starts. She played all 90 minutes in nine of 10 league matches, helping the Beavers tie for the second-best defense in the WCC with a 1.00 goals against average.
"Hayden is a super 1v1 force defensively," Guerrieri said. "But she is also a wonderful attacking player once the ball is won and she quickly transitions up the field on the dribble or with accurate passes to teammates."
