RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead after he was stabbed multiple times in Richmond's Southside on Monday.

At about 12:06 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 100 block of Wythemar Street for a report of a person stabbed.

According to police, when officers arrived, they found a man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
