TBS Champion Mercedes Moné celebrated her successful title defense against Anna Jay at AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash by proclaiming she is the greatest of all time.
Mercedes is already a double champion and might be adding a third belt to her collection in January at Wrestle Dynasty. Some folks have argued that she is presented as the most important women's wrestler in AEW, despite the fact that Mariah May holds the AEW women's world championship.
With that in mind, Mariah was asked by Niko Exxtra if she believes her title reign has been overshadowed by Moné. Here's what May had to say about The CEO:
"I think she's been given a lot more than me. I would love to have more time and more opportunity, but I think that I've always been underestimated. In one minute I can make you remember me. In one minute I can get a million impressions. So, that's fine. Stack the deck against me. I always shine."
Do you think it's just a matter of time until Mercedes beats Mariah and adds the AEW women's world championship to her collection of belts, or will Mariah stand out and shine whenever the two stars face each other? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
