Even with the loss against L.A., the Jets still own the eighth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Tankathon.com, which projects the draft order based on standings and strength of schedule (SOS).

With the 4 p.m. games now underway, their spot could still change depending on the results of the afternoon matchups across the league.

With only two games to go, it's clear that the Jets will own a high pick in the draft come this April.

There's multiple ways the organization can go about their first round selection, whether it's draft a QB with their likely top-10 selection and potentially have him sit a year and learn behind QB Aaron Rodgers (if he returns) or start right away if Rodgers' does not end up returning following the disappointing 2024 campaign.

If the new front office is sold and Rodgers wants to come back, Gang Green could also beef up either offensive or defensive line and push the QB route another year.

Whichever route the Jets decide to go, you know it'll likely be an entertaining one given the way this year has played out with such high expectations and porous results.
