Jan. 14 -- CELINA -- A Mercer County man was jailed on drug-related charges Monday following the search of a residence in Coldwater.

Jeffery Marbaugh, 55, was taken into custody after law enforcement from the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Coldwater Police Department, executed a search warrant at 502 W. Plum St., Coldwater.

During a search of the residence, numerous items of suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia were collected and taken as evidence, according to Mercer County Sheriff Doug Timmerman. Drugs suspected include methamphetamines, LSD and ecstasy.

Marbaugh was transported to the Mercer County jail and was booked on felony possession of drugs. He is currently being held without bond.

The case will be sent to the Mercer County Prosecutors Office for review of any additional charges, the sheriff said.
